I'm surprised no one's annoyed that MvK pulled another "OMG WHY ARE YOU GUYS SO HARD ON ME I'M GONNA REPLACE OUT" and, surprise, he was scum. Just like the last time he said that. <_<

Actually, I was thinking of something: Maybe running a SHM offshoot, except WITH BASTARD MODDING, THUS PREVIOUS MAFIA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Y/N? I think it'd be a good idea. Just need to come up with a setup and stuff <.<

This would be okay/fun, except I dunno if we have enough players to run a newbie/experienced game again. So we'd have to run it on its own, obv.
Interesting idea, an SHM bastard game... I'd be /in if I could.

These games also coincided with severe low points in my life. My desire to replace out of this game was directly tied to my desire to kill myself. When I swung out of my severe depression, I had no issue with playing.

| No offshoot games on Scorehero. All non-mafiaers hate it already, so having more than one game again risks getting shut down. Maybe if you want the bastard one in a gap between games, but let's not have another SHM3/SHM:OT fiasco. |

The problem with the VT testing was that it let us know who wasn't a VT by the reactions. You were pretty obviously confused as to what was going on, so I was sure for most of the game you weren't a VT. I just thought you were a doctor for a while. You played really well as a SK, as far as not getting lynched. You were too town though so you would've gotten NKed eventually without the rolecop. If you were scum it would've been a great game >_>

Yeah, I was afraid of that, but there was no way to honestly BS my way out of that.
Town MVP: I'd probably call it as Ace. Bball played a really great game and I'm still surprised he managed to catch the dude. Also props to Sean.
Scum MVP: I'd say bball but his premature death kinda discredits that. While he played a solid game you really have to hand it to Ortiz for getting that far on his own. That fakeclaim was fairly brilliant.
Also, question for the mods: Did Rich have anything to do with my wincon change? I think he had the same wincon in 2.5, didn't he?

We originally gave you the SK wincon from the previous game, but decided it was damn near impossible to fulfill, so we changed it to something very doable. I do kind of wish I had made you NK immune, because that wouldn't have affected town's Day 5 lylo, but too little too late.

No one should take any offense to anything said in dead threads. It's ALWAYS bad. I remember going there after every game where I wasn't killed and reading terrible thing said about me. Particularly SHM3. People are just mad, hindsight is 20/20, etc... |

I was kinda angry with some other stuff at the time of posting (would rather not talk about it right now) so I'm sorry Sora. I should also note that I have a tenancy to rage a lot but in reality I don't actually mean any of it that harshly. It's very easy to misinterpret it harshly.
Sora, I actually thought you were town for most of the game and didn't have time to read the thread. It's not exactly your fault and you guys didn't know the entire role list. We were just doing so well and to have the ball dropped like that... yeah.
For someone who couldn't read the thread much and wasn't very active I didn't think you were all that bad. Those posts are getting edited. My apologies to anyone who finds any other posts by me there... degrading. Things happen, everyone makes mistakes in Mafia, the end.

Double post here but back on my bad notes I can't blame everyone for running out with thinking over things since this game went on for like... 2-3 months? 10 Days? (Isn't this the longest for an SHM) and so forth? Almost every lynch was long. Even when the whole "Guilty on Bball" thing happened we could never get to a Lynch lock.
It also did seem like a smart idea to NL at the time. It was just a bad idea to do it so quickly. In the reality of it it's nobody's fault - R2R had good reasons for not claiming just yet (and couldn't get on in time before the NL was locked) and the NL seemed like a good idea. It all just happened so suddenly that it was frustrating to see without thinking it from each player's view and not knowing all the setup or what's going on in the grand scheme of things.
I think the true lesson learned here (Not even close to just for Sora) is not related to anything player specific but something I noticed in the entire game - Not to Quicklynch, especially in No-Lynch scenario's. Town quicklynched No-Lynch twice in this entire game which both times costed the Town more than they thought it did rather than sitting down and discussing. The less guessing the mods actions you do and the more discussing you do gets you further. This is the same problem we had with Sean's lynch. (And I think everyone can agree on this)
To be honest, I won't lie as well. For the first few days I made some really fast votes and just stuck it on there which led to some pretty crap wagons. I really regret that.
But... that's enough from me about that for now. I'll keep myself in my constructive mood since it gets more done than me raving.
So yeah, congrats scum on winning especially after getting bit in the leg numerous times and GG to everyone and it was quite a fun game for my first SHM (despite my slight rage/slight inactivity over the beginning) I'll judge over MVP's later but despite my rage, I actually think about everyone did a great job at some point of the game. From Metal making Shag scumslip, to Ortiz's claim, to MvK's VT claim, and then to Diddin crumbing a watcher claim even after me harassing him. It was surely interesting to say the least. I can't think of one single person in this that didn't offer something unique (Asides from the ones who didn't stay in for the full game) which is probably what helped make everything memorable.
As for Olinea's SK play, it was a bit over the top Pro-Town, but it was still enough not to get lynched. I don't even remember Olinea being much of a topic after Day 1 o_o When I saw the SK flip, I think that was my #1 most "WTF" moment of the game.
