Need help with my Gibson SG

Are there any Gibson specialists around here who could help me identify my guitar?
I recently bought this Gibson SG, but I can't seem to find any info about it anywhere. (At least not on the internet, that is.)
Nothing in the official catalogue, nothing on SG database sites...
It's real strange, because I'm positive it's not a fake. The guitar is excellent quality, in all aspects.
(Ow yeah, and don't mind the damage on the right lower side of the guitar. That happened during transport...

I'm still looking for a way to repair it.)

Forgot to mention one thing: The guitar has "special edition" printed on the beck of the neck.

It doesn't say anything.

That small piece is made of the same material as the pickguard.

Ok, he said its not genuine unless its a rare model or has been put together with bits of other Gibsons

does it have a serial number?

I'm pretty sure it isn't an assembled SG from different parts, because I found the exact same model on sale at some french auction site. That would be too much of a coincidence. But on that site, there isn't any useful info about the model either.
It HAS a serial number, printed on the back of the neck. Let me check for a bit, I'll get back too ya.

If you look closely, you can see the serial number "92897450" with "Made In USA" beneath it.

No, I don't. That's exactly What I want to find out.

I don't know the name of this Gibson SG model, and I can't find it anywhere (except for that french site). Those are the main reasons of my concern.
