im surprised nobody has ever posted. i think i'll ask the million dollar question... what sp route will help me beat this... i tried 6 waiting till the solo crap, but i can't do it. is the key just practicing? or are there SP in the solo taht i am going over? _________________

I can't get through it either. I'm stuck (as many are) at around 56% completion.
I think the bottom line is that you need to be able to play either solo B or C fairly well in order to get through that part of the song. Whichever one you don't learn, you can use SP on.
I'm going to guess that part of the optimal SP path would be to unleash your starpower during solo B! |

You need full bar of starpower going into the solo. You need it in the green going into the solo. You need to get to the first break in solo b. There is no starpower trick to pass this song. Either you can pass this song or you can't. If your getting to 56% then you need to improve you skills overall. Then you can think about passing it. I passed it the same day i got my log and 5 starred it about 2 weeks later. _________________

If you can get to the minute break 1/4 through the solo, then use star power, you should be able to mash your way through it |

Go as far as you can without sp then activate it at the break. |

Ok someone figure out whats better for me
I often hit most of solo B now, sometimes FC it, where as I often get about 80% on solo C.
So obviously I keep a better combo in solo B, but the optimal path says use in solo C, so what should I do?
Right now I use 2-3-3 and use 3 sps over solo B because I combo it better, but then I lose one SP because it should be 2-4-3 and use SP over solo C, which I dont combo as well as solo B.
Anyone got a suggestion? I don't really know which one will be better for me... |

man i finally passed this with 83%
yeah if you can get the sweeps during the solos it makes it much easier. also picking in time with the song helps tons |

If you can FC solo B under SP, obviously that would be better than hitting 75% on solo C. think about how many notes you hit under x4, as opposed a quarter bar more and hitting less under x4. If you can FC 75% of C, well, thats a harder call to make |

the break is WAY too early. If you fail in Solo A or in the break, that just needs practice.... |

He's talking about the break in Solo B. Not the Guitar Break. |

ok well yeah if you have full SP then gtr break in solo b is PLENTY FINE! you could even activate it a little earlier. |

I find that activating just a little bit after the little break, like in bar 58 just to put it that little bit ahead... this may solve the problem of failing RIGHT BEFORE TEH BLUE NOTE OF FREEDOM!
You can see where I mean in this video |
