Have any of you guys tried holding the lowest note down while entering a code in?
This just popped in my mind a few seconds ago.... _________________

Antec, sorry I haven't responded to your question but I haven't played GH at home in a while since I picked up some other games recently. I'll try it sometime this week and let you know whether it works holding down the lower fret buttons. Or, you could try it yourself and let us know.
An another note, I noticed that I have no code listed for Horse Head on Xbox360. Can somebody with 1337 game exploration skills confirm whether or not this code exists for the Xbox? _________________

OK, so I just did some quick tests. Entering Hyperspeed code () on PS2:
1. Holding the entire time: code worked
2. Holding the entire time and treating it as a pulloff: code does not work
3. Holding the entire time but releasing it and re-pressing it (and continuing to hold it again) when it occurs in the code: code worked
4. Holding the entire time but releasing it and re-pressing it: code worked
Hope this helps. _________________

I asked this elsewhere, but then thought this is a better place for it. My question is..
Do the cheat codes work on the respective DEMO versions?
For instance if i go to Best Buy and put in the yoboyobo code for Hyper Speed for Guitar Hero 2 on thier demo version, would it work?
I may go to Topeka this weekend, if no one else gets the chance to test this. I'll report back if it works.
Great thread BTW _________________

Demo versions, as far as I know, have NO cheat codes. This is based on looking through both the PS2 OPM 4-song and the "10-song" demo, there are NO CHEATS. _________________

They can be done on DS, you just have to map the buttons correctly. _________________
