|
|
So it's really been 6 years since I last updated this thing, huh...well, I've definitely played some rhythm games since then, but I must've not wanted to update this. Where do I even begin really? I got burned out on rhythm games for quite some time after Warriors of Rock and RB3 came out. Probably around 2011 is when the burnout really hit. I did get an itch again this time last summer, but it didn't last long due to some things in my personal life coming up.
I don't recall doing anything particularly noteworthy on the GH side of things last summer, but this time I was able to knock out some new GH2X FC's. I feel I can get somewhere between 40-50 on GH2(and every 360 exclusive sans The Trooper), but only time will tell.
Rock This Town
Arterial Black
Laid to Rest
I have some goals in mind, but who knows how long my interest will be back for. I dabbled in some GHL, only for my guitar to act up 3 days in. No idea when I'll bother to get a new one.
Goals
FGFC:
80's H(missing Round and Round + NBAGT)
GHM Vocals
40-50 FC's on GH2X
FGFC BH on bass and vocals
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another FGFC down! That gives me Smash Hits, GH5, and now Van Halen. Next is BH and then I'm probably done going for bass FGFC's(WT and Metallica are out of my reach). I will say that VH has some very fun bass songs.
I'm the One
The Takedown
Hot for Teacher
Romeo Delight
Mean Street
Painkiller
Hang 'em High
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I sure went a long time without making a video, haha. I decided to make this because I had this song stuck in my head the past few days, plus it fits well within my range, IMO. Enjoy. :)
Shiver Vocal FC
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After feeling very discouraged for quite a long while, I decided to give Smash Hits on vocals another go, just to see if maybe things would go better this time. Sure enough, they did. About a week and a half after I started up again, I FC'd the remaining 23 or so songs I had left and got the FGFC! I wasn't sure if I'd ever get this.
Here's some pictures of the harder FC's:
Killer Queen(my final FC)
Nothin' But A Good Time
Play With Me
Back in the Saddle
Through the Fire and Flames
Cherry Pie
Smoke on the Water
Electric Eye

Nice job man. You're really coming along with some of the more difficult hard FC's. Keep it up. _________________

Thanks, JR. Unfortunately, my luck's turned sour. In the past two days, I've gotten -1 runs on:
Monkey Wrench-Expert
Lonely Is The Night-Expert
Thunderhorse-Hard
Rock This Town-Hard
Jessica-Hard
KitN-Hard
Madhouse-Hard
Laid To Rest-Hard
IR(SFA)-Expert
That's 9 extra FC's that I could have, but my luck's getting better.
EDIT: Scratch Trippin' and FTK off of the list. _________________

I am going to assume that you are talking about Red Lottery on expert. Anyway, congrats. Now you never have to play it again. _________________

Nah, it was on hard. I wish I got it on expert. The trills on the guitar break always get the better of me on expert, but I'll get that one soon. Also, I want Yes We Can FC'd on expert soon as well. Once those two are out of the way, then my ears can rest easy. _________________

Oh, well, congrats still. Those trills used to always screw me over, but I finally got the hang of them. Just take in into practice mode. With Yes We Can, the toughest part is the weird whistle bridge thing. Also, make sure you pay attention, because they change up the rhythm at spots, and you don't want to overstrum or miss a note near the end of the song. Hopefully you can get those soon so you never have to play them again. I'm actually about to go play Red Lottery to squeeze a couple thousand more points. Hopefully I return alive. _________________

Bump for cracking the top 100 on GHII hard! Now I need to crack the top 1000 on expert(this may take a while).
EDIT: Great. Just frickin' great. These whammy bars are cheap and terrible. Unless I can somehow fix it, my whammy bar has broken.....AGAIN. Now I've either got to fix my current whammy bar, or buy another guitar, which I currently don't have the money for.
DOUBLE EDIT: My whammy bar has been fixed, thanks to my dad. Now I don't have to spend $50 more on a new guitar. I need the money for GHIII and Rock Band. I would have gotten a 360, but not anymore since RB will (supposedly)come out on the Wii. _________________

OK, after many screw-ups in Gtr Solos 1 and 4, I've finally FC'd Carry On Wayward Son on Hard.
EDIT: Here it is, the Carry On Wayward Son FC.

WOOOHOOO!!!!
Here's my 39th(miscounted) GHII hard FC, FTK!!!
I am so glad that I got this song(I'm using that term loosely)FC'd. I can't stand it.
EDIT: Yikes, that picture is blurry. Here's a setlist picture to go along and make the score more readable.
Hope this helps.
DOUBLE EDIT: FC #40, Laughtrack

As stated in my signature, I've just 5-starred Caught In A Mosh, leaving only Play With Me as the final song I need to 5-star for my log on 80's. I need to get the verses and chorus down, because there's no way I'd be able to do halfway decent in the solo. _________________
