Here's my path maybe if we share ideas we can improve this even more, random.
Let me know how this compares to the path you've been using.
Hey You Strategy
Note: the red sections indicate notes where you must squeeze to hit them under SP. _________________

I have a somewhat different pattern that I used to get a 9th place score (under 3,000 away from the top score). Since I can't squeeze notes and have less-than-perfect whammy skills, perhaps someone else could use this strategy to beat the top score?? Maybe not; I don't know....
Malictus Hey You Expert Path
Essentially the same as JCirri's path at the beginning and end, but it uses one less SP activation in the middle. _________________

I can't see how omitting the tons of chords in JC's activation for the series of single notes in yours to come out to more points..however I will give this a shot later just to humor you :P _________________

That's the exact path I've been using...I don't see how to improve (or even match) your score. Your holds and whammies must have been perfect (which I guess shouldn't surprise me after ILRR!) |

Hmmm, by my count there are slightly more notes in my 2 activations than in JCirri's 3 activations (counting doubles as 2 notes). However, the holds are longer in JCirri's, so I'm not sure which one is really optimal. _________________

I looked, and the holds really add up in this case, since a lot of them are chords. There are about 13 notes worth of holds in JC's and only 2 in yours, so even with your extra few notes, I bet JC's gets an extra 1000 pts or so.
But b3nz0r should try it anyway to be sure |

Thanks for the help guys; I never knew exactly how much hold notes counted.
I'm still not 100% convinced this pattern is inferior; I just posted a slightly revised version (the begin and end of each SP activation are a little more clearly defined). My current best is now 6th place, less than 2,000 from the top score, using tilt activation (no squeezes) and I dropped a couple of hold notes early. _________________

Doing the impossible........
There's a better path if you could get activations from sp3 and sp6. But is it possible? I gotta think people have tried and failed. It looks like it might be possible. Curious to know. Some of you folks can get activations out of 7.25 beat whammys so I don't know the limits. _________________
