this is the first song i actually studied the note chart and tried to come up with the best SP path on my own and i was just wondering how close i am to the best path.

I get the first 2, activate immediately. Then i get the next 4 and activate right when the chord solo starts. Then I get the next 2 and activate immediately. Then i get the last 2 and activate it. I'm assuming I'm very close to the best path because I'm ranked in like the top 60 and I can't even play the chord solo part very well at all yet.

That's the path I use. It will get you a great score if you can FC it.

I almost have the chord section down. I get bored with this song though...

Hmm.. Just 5* both Take it Off and Unsung, on my first try. I've tried Cochise maybe 20 times now.. This song is giving me some serious problems. =[

EDIT: Jesus, I can't keep a freaking combo in this damn song. Between the BO-BYBYRG and the damn triplet chords, I just can't keep 4x. =[

Yeah, if you're having trouble getting your combos breaking just use your star powers on the sections that it breaks, that's what I did and raised my score by 40k within 15 minutes.

I can't hit any of the blue/orange HOs to save my life. Unfortunately they comprise half the song...

I can't stand the chord part. I could raise my score so high if I could get all of that in a x8 combo.

The GR RYRYRYRYRYRYRYRYRYRYRYRYRY GR RY BOBOBOYBYBYBBOBOBO part. If I downstrum the entire thing, my arm gets sore by the time i get to YBYBYB. If I alternate strum, I overstrum.... and break combos. Dammit. Aren't the YBYBYB and BOBOBO parts just triplets?

The entire solo is made up entirely of triplets. The last half (the YBYBYB BOBOBO part) is a little tricky because the groups of three aren't on the beat because it starts with 4 YB's.

What I do is play the first part normally (altstrum and just keeping pace with the triplets). At the end of the first part, I play the GR and RY with 12 (I slide them up to the RY) then play the YB with 23. Then I play the YB and BOs entirely with 123. I don't use my pinky at all during the solo.

On the second part, I hit the first note, then in my head I count 123 123 123 123 because after the first note, it's just groups of three triplets. I couldn't get it for awhile because I always got screwed up by the first group of four YB notes.

If this helps, awesome. If not, sorry I wasted your time explaining how I do it :P

Just a hint for those who aren't getting the B->O hammer ons - if you're struggling, just downstrum both notes - it's a little easier to do it that way than with the <Springer mode> filthy HOs </Springer mode>, which are inconsistent as all hell - can't wait for them to get the timing fixed up in GH2, as HOs and POs are awesome when they work
