I was suspicious about including that 2/4 measure in my path before. Too lazy to confirm my suspicions however...nice score, Priest. I'm trying this tomorrow.

can you really get that first squeeze? and I'm not sure if the 3rd activation goes that far. Thanks for posting though and grats on the score!

Yes, he can. My two identical runs 900 pts short of his 1st place score indicate as much. Although I'd question the length of the 2nd activation before I'd question the 3rd. Turns out I just suck at whammying and can't get an extra beat of SP out of those two activations.

Yeah that's what I thought...I couldn't really remember...since I did a few more runs after that score to see if I could get more points out of the second activation.

sorry for being kinda new to ScoreHero and note charts in themselves, but can anyone tell me how to read them?

I mean, I understand how to read music and all, and I can FC several songs on expert at the moment, but I don't understand what to look for on a note chart as to when I'm supposed to activate star power.

this goes for all songs, not just JTF...although that one would be nice to figure out first.

someone help me out?
thx

The note charts in the first post of each thread do not contain any SP strategy - they are just the note charts.

In most threads at least one user was nice enough to post his SP strategy seperatly, in this case PriestMLH on the first page.

These images usually mark the parts where you activate SP with a color (PriestMLH used blue). Some players additionally mark the parts where you collect SP (PriestMLH used green), but this is not always the case, since the note charts already show either star notes (old note chart style) or a line above the chart (new note chart style) for SP phrases.

I flip my hand over the fret board and play them as POs.

4-3-2-4-3-2-4-3-2-4-3-2-3. Or something like that.

I flip over right on the long hold after the GY - RB - YO sequence, where you activate SP on that path.

It got me 70th place and my 8th FC.

wait, how is the optimal score 205,331 if Lo7 has 205,760? Is it possible to get that score? Then again, he has no pic...

The program isn't considering the extremely difficult squeeze from the first BY in 33 to the second BY in 39 as being possible, so it instead settles for the easier squeeze it states (which gets one fewer note and fewer hold points).
