Heh, on the evening of frustration I thought that'd be a good idea as well. I'm never going to try that again. I FC'd break 1 three times, and I always missed the second phrase, so no SP. If I sometimes did get the SP, I completely choked on the break. Not worth the points for me, I guess. OTOH I can't consistently hit any part in the song and for some reason the twiddly bits in between the long streams are difficult to hit. But I uploaded a score from a decent effort; now my best songs sorted by rank are Misirlou and Six and worst are Stop and Jessica. I'm a freak. :P |

my high score (328.9k) is a 98% run
you just have to not miss under SP since you'll lose massive points there.
2 2 3 2 is the best path and i believe JC posted a chart. _________________

By the way, what program do you use that lets you highlight the SP activations transparently? I think that looks much nicer than my crudely drawn rectangles. |
This is the best path. It's a few thousand better than mine, which is the same as JC's path. Although you have to be able to get the first break |

ok that's good to know. thanks.
it's like the hard path but you split up the final 4 SPs due to massive 32nds in the chorus.
i'll see if i can hit 330k with this tonight finally altho i think the 2nd activation is gonna be a c-c-c-combo breaker _________________

Oddly enough, 20 straight runs of this song hurts my arm more than 100 push-ups. |

Umm, use SP there?
Also, be sure you are timing your note changes right. _________________

This song is the only song I have left to 5* (besides six). I just can't keep a good streak with the really fast notes. I think either my rhythm is inconsistent or my fretting is either a note early or late often times. Alt-strumming isn't really my forte. Any suggestions as to how I can 5* this and get my log? |

LOL, try counting 128th notes out loud, I am a musician and I can't even think about a measure wide enough to fit 128 notes |

on a side note, i can't believe i 5 starred jordan before misirlou, thats just wrong... |
I have EXACTLY the same problem

Uggh.. I followed popemobile's path and did fantastic, but near the end (of course the YB and GRY chord part) i started to panic and had no multiplier whatsoever.. ended with a 184k =( |

use Jcirri`s path. It`ll help by a few thousand. Also, i found out it helps to strum a bit slower on the 3 note chords in the end. |
