How is it that I can play this fine, but I screw up in songs like Gemini and Raw Dog? Sightread --> five stars.
Any star paths available? |

Any star paths available? | Raw Dog is much faster and a little weirder with it's patterns and Gemini requires a LOT of technical work. This one has very few hard parts.

I played this song for only the second time ever yesterday and pulled off 80th place with no pre-determined star path at all.
So it goes without saying that im looking forward to an optimal star power strat for this song. |

What I do is get the first two SP's chains and activate it right away, then I get the next two and activate it right away, then I get the next three and use it once I get back to the chords at measure 65. I don't use the last stair power chain. |

Ral's SP above (2-2-3) is what I (and everyone else, I'm guessing) use. I finally got 100% last night and it put me just 4k out of first (I suck at squeezing and whammying). _________________

I don't like the quick solo break before the actual solos... I miss in there everytime. _________________

This may be wrong but I do 4 and then 4. Both immediate.
EDIT: Try 4 immediately and then 3 at the next RY G G RY G RY G RY part a few measures later. If you whammy as much as possible you should be basically full when you get there so the last sp phrase is a waste of time.
EDIT 2: 2 Immediately, 2 immediately, 3 at 65. Whammy as MUCH AS YOU CAN! |

Aye, i think that's the same path we talk about above. Here's my FC video, sitting in 13th place because I suck at whammying / squeezing. _________________

Using the SP path from sluggo's video, I was able to create an SP chart. Enjoy: Collide - Expert _________________

I've gone ahead and made an updated path, as I'm working on the FC of this myself.
Differences:
All 3 activations now end on a hold.
Second activation gets another note under SP.
Edit: Read pope's post below, he are samrter than I. _________________

actually, you would lose a note in the 2nd activation b ynot activating right away. It is possible to get the BO chord while activating on the first G note after the SP. Other then that, the path is better |
