I'll try later when I start playing GH2 again. GH1 is way too fun. |

Darn, looks like I already use sp the right way, I was hoping I was doing it all wrong and so then I might get the 5,000k I need to 5* this song.... I don't know what it is about this song that makes it so difficult for me....I've taken this song into practice more than Jordan and i've passed Jordan with a high 4* already!!!! |

Try getting a steady alt strum going. Where it goes fast enough to hit all the notes, but slow enough to strum in an open area. (I can usually 90%+ it that way) _________________

I single strum the first three sets, then double strum the last one. That's about all the help I can give for that part. |

I alt-strum that part (just like everything else). What exactly about that part is giving you trouble? _________________

That part (as most of the galloping parts in any songs) are IMO easiest played with all down strums and then the last with D DUD D, so your right hand is doing constant downstrums throughout that whole section, but with that one note you don't only lift your hand, but strum upwards as well. I would do the main riff the same way too, as well as the riffs in e.g. Six. That way the rhythm keeps steady, with all alt-strums the strumming would sort of switch phase at the fast notes.
EDIT: Then I thought I'd check your score... so you can decide if want to listen or not. |

2-3-3-1
This, of course, assumes you can combo the 16ths. If you can't, 1-2-3-2-1 is better, and if you can't get the SP in the 16ths either, 1-4-2-1 works. In any case, you might as well forget that the SP phrase in measures 85 and 86 even exists. _________________

I use 2-3-3-1 but I feel, because I can't combo the solo for the life of me, that using the third activation the SECOND you get it allows you to scrape 2 in for the last activation leaving you with a full bar. Activating it when the notes return on the first yellow gets rid of those yucky holds at the end :P. _________________
