YES! Yes it is!
GAAHHHH.
Downstrum..alternate strum...no matter what..I can't keep a combo through those sections. I've actually resorted to using VGS player, slowing it down to 75% and just running through those parts...to try to get some muscle memory going.

I think the best advice so far (apart from ES fingering chart) is JHetfield's advice on concentrating on the YGR then 'snapping' the chords...
Now I get the RY95% of the time..and the BY or BO 1/3 the time.

I think this one just comes down to pure and simple practice...

NO!!! Rabies! Listen to me! Enough with the exclamation points!!!

All that matters is ES's fingering chart.

Remember 2112(23) or something like that. Regardless, just look back to ES's post about fingering. It helped me get %100.

Listen to him... Sometimes he knows what he's talking about!

Also, I wish Buckethead was in GH2

It's one of my favorite songs in the game actually, but I'm beginning to hate it, because I JUST CAN'T GET THAT DAMN FC ON IT

I like the fact that it's somewhat avant-garde - it's certainly the most unique song in GH1 (and I love the understated vocals )

"ugh - what the hell is this shit? Is this a song"?

suffice to say..she broke my concentration..

I asked this in the hard topic, but I'm wondering: at the end of the interlude, there is a held note that you can whammy for SP. If you activate off the first two in the intro, is it possible to get an activation just off that note?

Not sure I am following you. The golden rule is you need 7.5 beats on a starred hold in order to get enough for activation. There are no single holds in this song that qualify.

OK, guess I don't know how it works. Thought it was 5% per beat. Guess that means the answer is no.

ok, so does anyone notice that the first 5 notes in this song for a real guitar would be one simple strum on each string?!?!

I just FCed this song and only got 281463....in all of the yammering of how gay this song is, I don't think anyone asked for an SP path. If someone doesn't mind posting one, that would be awesome, because being able to FC this song and then looking up and seeing that my score is 8k under first is more frustrating than actually FCing it.
