Before I Forget offbeat?

OK, so I just spent a bit of time with this song, and I was doing miserably at the parts that go

etc. I didn't know why I kept missing so horribly, because it honestly doesn't look all that hard and similar stuff in Mauvais Garcon was coming WAY easier to me...

...then I tried hitting massively early, and I mean like that one part in Stop early. After doing that I never came even remotely close to missing on that part, and after working on some other parts got a cool 484k score.

So does anyone else find that part really, really offbeat, or is it just me?

I haven't noticed in that one particularly, but I swear I have the same problem in the end of Knights of Cydonia. Not too sure if I've lost my mind or what yet though

That part is off beat, you just have to get used to it.
