cheat question

i wanted to use that cheat that you can enter so that your rock meter will always stay green so that i can help narrow down some of the cut-offs but i was wondering how long the cheat stays in effect. i dont want to always have the cheat activated after i save my game... will the cheat turn off after you turn your console off or what... thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Yes, you need to reset the console to disable the cheat again. Once you enable it, you can't save the game and it will remain in effect until you reset.

i entered the air guitar cheat on my friends file, he got so pissed at me once i refused to undo it, it was hilarious. And he wasn't aware that it goes away once you reset it. So he thought he was stuck with an air guitar for all eternity, until he paid me $10, unfortuately, he figured out the reset thing.
