Any chance someone could fill me in on exactly where the images in the OP are from? None of them load anymore 13 years later, shockingly, lol. I'm thinking this fix is on one of the boards in the body of the guitar? But again I can't see what anyone is talking about anymore.
My (obviously ancient now) xbox 360 wireless les paul is having problems, I can't play green+red chords, it results in a yellow being thrown in and sometimes a strum. Trying to get this working for my kids, but I don't really wanna open it up completely blind. Such a shame there doesn't seem to be some new production guitar solution, I would have thought after all these years a third party would have finally made a super reliable guitar. _________________

photobucket is the problem. unless OP revive them, which unlikely, we're SOL.
it does happen on some of the guitars I have and I'm, curious what's the fix too. _________________

Popping into this thread since I was contacted about it. While I do not have the images anymore, I do have the guitar. I took a fresh image for this thread, which I'll edit into the OP. _________________
