i kinda stoped playing for a while.
all my friends have multiple 70's and are not playing until wrath of the lich king. but i do have a game card sitting around so i might see if i can get to seventy like them in a month.
i have a level 30 tauren druid on scilla. because of my 70 friends he is very well equipped. i went through so many instances just looting. it was ridicules.

But haven't played him for ages.
My main at the moment is a lv51 Rogue on Darkspear.

As a 70 Lock, you want to get out of Destro for levelling. It is very slow, and you have a to drink a lot. Spec Affliction like this.
Basically, the strategy is dot with all that you have (you're eventually going to ditch immolate for leveling purposes) and then spam drain life, life tapping when needed so you aren't wasting health gain. Then drain soul at the last moment possible to get the mana boost. Rinse, repeat.
You're also going to want to use the VW if you aren't.

All on Khadgar-US:
Ciantherix - 70 Human Mage
Lethral - 70 NE Warrior
Princip - 39 NE durid (current leveling focus)
Hearthmoon - 51 NE priest (this toon would be 70, were the 50s level range not such a grind)
Overall, I think I've got ~200 days played total among all my characters, been registered since July 17, 2005.
(I would have more /played, but my laptop at my mom's house cannot play WoW, and I've taken temporary breaks a few times, probably 6 months I didn't play.)

Thanks for the tip - currently I level/quest with a 30 Warrior speccing Fury, on his request I went Destro to nuke as mobs 95% of the time don't live long enough to do any sort of damage with DoT spells. I mainly use Succubus unless soloing, then I use Void.
how much does re-talenting cost? Or should I just wait for them to reset in next patch?

Played the mage exclusively pre-Burning Crusade. Switched focus to the Shaman during BC up until I quit.
Toons originally on Skullcrusher, Transferred to Mug'thol with guild.

Well, unless there's never a time you aren't with this warrior, spec affliction, you will likely never have to drink, except the rare times where you pull five mobs in succession (and you usually live  ).
