Does anybody have in good tips for keeping the beat in songs with fast high hat pattern? I'm talking specifically about songs like Rebel yell, Antisocial, or Dammit where you have to do a fast one hand rather than everlong where you can roll two-handed. Even if I get the beat at the beginning, halfway through the song I start losing it cuz I get tired. Any suggestions on holding a combo through these fast patterns?

On songs with those fast Hi-hat beats, usually people use their left hand for one of the hi hat hits ie:

L-R-RL-R-L
instead of the usual R-R-RL-R
it doesn't take very long to practice and it doesn't wear you down as anywhere near as quickly.
