According to their facebook, they plan on it! The new album title: "The Parallax II: Future Sequence" and it's set to be released October 9th! |

Hopefully going to be picking it up on vinyl when it does get released. Completely missed out on the first Parallax since it was a Record Store Day album with a very limited release. _________________

I'm hoping it will be a vast improvement from the first Parallax, because for some reason I couldn't really get into it, despite how big a BTBAM fan I am _________________

You know, Parallax part 1 was something I really really needed to get an acquired taste for. I didn't particularly like it the first...probably five to ten times through. But the more I listened to it on long car rides, the more I started to like. It's definitely different than Colors or TGM, that's for sure. _________________

Ya Dream Theater's done nothing but wankfests ever since Train of Thought (with the exception of parts of Octavarium), they're trying so damn hard to "fit" in the category of Prog Metal that now they're just recycling the same old schtick.
Anyway, on topic of BtBaM, I personally loved Parallax Pt I from the get go (although it took Augment of Rebirth time to grow on me), but Lunar Wilderness is definitely in my favorite BtBaM songs of all time alongside Sun of Nothing, Swim to the Moon and Selkies. _________________

It took me a few listens to really like it too, but I'm like that with a lot of music. Excited for Part II though if it's similar. _________________

I personally loved the first Parallax, Augment of Rebirth being my fav. off of it. The first time I heard it I was so sad when it ended. Alls i could think was, " ): awww Why'd it end, I Want more" that being said I cannot wait for October. I kinda wanna pull a Cartman and freeze myself _________________

Someone posted a video of one of their new songs "Telos". It's not the best quality, but it gets the point across for the most part.

I personally love it. The drums are killer as always. _________________

Lol. Yeah, not arguing there, both bands are pretty wank-heavy, but BtBaM is just so over the top with it, and the vocals are probably the most monotonous I've ever heard in metalcore.
But, Tommy's clean vocals are pretty cool, I guess. |
