Guitar Hero just froze on me! I was almost through Frankenstein on Hard (which would be a miracle for me at my skill level to complete) when it just stopped, and the crowd noise slowly faded away!

Aw man, that stinks.

I haven't experienced any bugs, but I've heard about others who have. Is this the first time it's happened to you?

Its happened to me before, one time the game came back on but wasn't synched up with the music as I continued to play. Another time it froze completely. Only 2 times thus far and it ususaly happens after extended play when I should probably take a break anyway.

Might be more of anti-arthritis feature than a bug, to be fair.

In my experience, short-term freezing and subsequent audio/video desyncs are often caused by scratches on the game disc. How does your disc look?

I take good care of my stuff, ie its brand new. plus I've only owned the game for about a month now.

Same thing has happened to me, twice, one of the times it was on Frankenstien. It was cool though because I had been playing so much when it froze it looked like the notes kept stretching up to the top forever. It was really trippy.

something like taht has happened to me a few times but not during a song. Almost every time I play quick play and don't get a highscore the game will freeze at the highscore list. Which is one of the reasons i dun like to play quick play

it froze on me once, and I wasn't playing it very long, probably at the fact that I left it on my PS2 for 3 days cause I was too busy playing Kingodm Hearts 2...

it froze on me playing BATM and it looked like the fretboard on the screen was stretching up
