|
|
These codes are now available on the ScoreHero Wiki!
http://wiki.scorehero.com/CheatCodes
Instead of having the codes spread out in different posts, maybe it will be easier to have all the known codes listed in a single post, and maybe this will get stickied. If anything is incorrect or if I'm missing one, let me know and I'll add it. The GH1, GH2, and GH80s NTSC codes for PS2 were all verified by myself; GH1 PAL codes were confirmed by ENvintage; GH2/PS2/PAL was verified by lucothefish; GH2/Xbox360 and GH80s have the same codes for NTSC and PAL since the versions are binary identical. GH3 codes were verified by myself on PS2, and many have reported that they are the same on other systems. GH:A codes were also verified by myself on PS2.
Most of these codes were obtained from GameFAQs, but I got the 80s codes from here, and the GH3 codes have been appearing throughout this thread itself. I received the codes for GH:A from tma in a PM; as of now I don't know if they are the same across all systems, or if different systems have different cheats (e.g., GH3).
For GH1, GH2, and GH80s codes, a * before the code name means that you must reset the game to disable the code; otherwise, the code can be disabled by entering it again. For GH3 and GH:A, codes (except for Unlock All Songs and Unlock Everything) can be toggled via the Cheats menu.
Codes for GH1, GH2, and GH80s are entered at the main menu screen (the one where you pick Career, Quickplay, Multiplayer, etc.). Make sure you are not tilting your guitar when you enter the code, or else it probably won't work.
Codes for GH3 and GH:A are entered on the Cheats menu under the Options menu. On GH3 and GH:A, you need to strum the notes when you enter a code.
For a guide to what is and isn't considered cheating, please see this thread.

Once entered, this code stays permanent (until you delete your game save data), and unlocks all songs in Quickplay (not Career). If you are interested in maintaining a "legit" game, note that this will give you all the bonus songs without having to purchase them, as well as unlock the Co-Op Encores (in Quickplay mode).

Unlock Everything wrote: | Thanks to tma for finding this one as well. Note that no sounds will play when you enter this code.
Since there are no built-in Freticons for the 4-note chords, I got them from here (thanks DarkDucky!).
This code does not give you the songs; use "Unlock All Songs" given above for that.
A mnemonic for memorizing this code, courtesy of SpoonMan, is that the buttons that you don't press spell, "YO BRO GO ROB BOB".
As with Unlock All Songs, this code is permanent once entered. For easier distinguishing of the chords, the missing (a.k.a., not-pressed) buttons are represented with an underscore.

This should take the place of the THREE stickies we currently have in Misc game Discussion. |

Thanks, I've removed the old one that looked way too long, and is apparently wrong. _________________

Here's an idea. Instead of just codes that you can input on the guitar, why don't you list codes for cheat devices? Like AR Max, Gameshark etc. _________________

Hmm, I guess I could add those, but since I have none of those devices I don't have much interest in them. At the least I think I will put the codes to get Trippolette and Graveyard Shift. Are there others that are worth putting in?
On second thought, after seeing the codes, I think they are much too long. Also, it seems to me the developers did not really intend for anyone to use those since they require the use of a third-party hacking device, but the codes I listed were intended to be used since they made them part of the regular game. _________________

Awesome. I'll be needing hyperspeed for GH80s.
And not that I'm gonna use it, but is saving not disabled for the "Unlock All" code for GH80's? I'm sure it is, but I just noticed that you put it by the other ones but not 80s. _________________

Definetely like the idea of Freticons. It makes it easier for me to understand, (I know, I'm stupid). This should be sticked. But then I guess all the other ones would get un-stickied... Good job Rice! |

It really doesn't make sense to have so many stickes about the same thing when it's all in this thread right here. Great job putting it all together! |
