Looks pretty good. I might pick one up.

That looks a lot like the third party controller that Harmonix used while developing Guitar Hero. It's a modified version of course, cause the version they were using didn't have a whammy bar. But the design of the body looks the same.

In the article I read where they mentioned those guitars, they complained about the poor quality and mused about the large pile of broken guitars that are in their office.

I've never been a fan of third party controllers so I'll just stick with my SG.

I understand about 3rd party controllers being crap, having gone through about 4 for my gamecube...

But still, it would be worth it to have a different shaped guitar. I'm not to fond of the SG.

Players demand the Shredder guitar controller because its advanced action and button design prevent users from accidentally pausing the game!

Uhm..... what?

Anyway, it doesn't look like it would be an improvement over the SG, so no thanks.

Somewhere on the official game forums, one of the members actually bought this guitar. As far as the avoiding accidental pauses, it's because the Start button if flush with the body of the guitar, itself. Also, you either have to shake the guitar or use Select to activate star power, no tilting. I don't like the body style, as it is, though, so it's a no buy for me.
