Every once in awhile when I'm playing, the fret board will just totally shut down and won't light up on the screen, then after a little bit it will kick itself back in. Anybody else having these problems? I have no idea if the same thing is happening with the PS3, Wii, or PS2 guitars though. |

I haven't had that problem with the Wii guitar; it works flawlessly. _________________

It sounds like the neck is losing connection with the guitar. I had it happen once- I was mid-song and my fret buttons stopped working and I realized that sliding my hand across the frets had pulled the neck out ever-so-slightly, but enough to break the connection =( |

I tied the neck to the body of the guitar with a hair band to get it to sort of work, but it still cut out every now and again. This might work for you, but I got varying results.
I just gave up and went to my Xplorer (as much as it pains me).....I'll be waiting for the inevitable recall (looking at the guitar hero/score hero hardware forums, this problem is WIDESPREAD) |

I'm glad this is widespread and not just me, now I can't wait for the recall |

same here... single notes it seems fine but whenever i have to play a grb or gyb it works like 50/50...
I look at my hands and each button is pressed down and on the screen it only shows g+r or g+y, if i release it and press it again it usually works.. but my combo is broken anyways
gonna bring it in for a new guitar as soon as ebgames gets in stock =/ |
