Hey guys! I picked up Rock Band from Gamestop around 8:30 last night. (I couldn't find a Rock Band forum on SH so I just put it here, hope im right :p)
First off, it is automatically an awesome game because of the size box it comes in :p Taking everything out of the box, and unwrapping all the plastic wrap and twisty-ties took quite a while. That's part of the fun though I was a little disappointed with the guitar, however. It feels very cheap and isn't very solid. Maybe I should tighten the screws on it more? I am also not used to the strum bar at all, its very mushy...I did terrible strumming up and down with it. On the other hand, the drums are extremely solid, but they have to be that way because you are going to be hitting them so hard. I could also care less about the controllers being wired, if I need more length I have usb extension cables, but my living room is small anyway. They got tangled too, but whatever.
Does anyone elses guitar make a sound when you shake it? Like a rattling sound, like something is loose? _________________

Well, first of all, we have a rather large Rock Band forum on SH, here:

Yes, mine does too. Not sure what it is, but generally seems to be ok anyway. _________________

Rattling is good! For the most part. To detect "Overdrive" activation, the strat uses two accelerometers to detect the tilt. It's more reliable than the little chips used in RO guitars. _________________
