That looks a lot like the third party controller that Harmonix used while developing Guitar Hero. It's a modified version of course, cause the version they were using didn't have a whammy bar. But the design of the body looks the same.
In the article I read where they mentioned those guitars, they complained about the poor quality and mused about the large pile of broken guitars that are in their office.
I've never been a fan of third party controllers so I'll just stick with my SG.

I understand about 3rd party controllers being crap, having gone through about 4 for my gamecube...
But still, it would be worth it to have a different shaped guitar. I'm not to fond of the SG. _________________
